Born and raised in Vancouver, much of my’ inspiration comes from the natural surroundings of beautiful British Columbia.

As a young child my parents always took my brothers and I camping.  We hiked a fair amount which carried forward into my adult years.  It was these instilled activities that brought me to where I am today.

I fell in love with photography as a child after watching my now 99 year old Grandfather fiddle with all types of cameras.  I remember growing up thinking that every scene we see is a potential photo waiting to be taken.  This ability of the camera to freeze moments in time helps us appreciate and ponder the beauty of the natural world in its entire splendor.

I hope my passion carries through in my work and you can feel the emotion I put into every piece.  Lucas
